Navigon 7200T GPS Navigator adds handy graphics and features

GPS systems are getting to be such a commodity, purveyors of such gadgets are looking for some way to differentiate themselves. Navigon nailed it with its 7200T, due to hit the road for $449 in October. Its 4.3-inch screen will be sprinkled with 3D landmarks and “"Reality View Pro," showing you in no uncertain terms where you’re supposed to make that turn. Maybe if we’re lucky, such landmarks will also be included for those of us living in the hinterlands.

Notice that speed limit indicator, good for a quick glance when you see a cop lurking roadside. As a nice bonus, Navigon is including real-time traffic updates. Sure, we’d rather have the interconnected Dash Express tech where all Dash GPS units communicate with both each other and the Web. But Navigon’s nifty graphics and the free traffic updates for life bring it in at a close second. Hit Continue for another view of its way-cool graphics and more guff in the company's press release
