Sony VAIO AW Series

Sony has just announced its Sony VAIO AW Series of high definition notebooks, targeting those who are more inclined towards multimedia-oriented tasks instead of being stuck in a corporate office all day long, poring over figures and numbers of another company. Of course, it is more than adequate for those tasks, but why not use it as it was intended to be - to view or edit high-definition content on-the-go. Features of the Sony VAIO AW Series include :-

  • 18.4" LCD display
  • Sony XBRITE-FullHD LCD technology
  • Blu-ray Disc optical drive
  • HDMI output
  • Built-in CompactFlash memory card slot
  • Intel Centrino 2 technology
  • Up to 1TB of storage space
  • Dual 64GB SSDs with RAID technology
You will be able to choose from Windows Vista Home Premium, Vista Business and Vista Ultimate as the operating system. Prices of the Sony VAIO AW Series start from $1,600 upwards, and will come in titanium gray or glossy piano black colors. Image courtesy of Crunchgear.
